La Baronessa is a renovated historic 12-hectare Masseria, a traditional farmhouse, set among Salento's scenic countryside. Just 5 km from Gallipoli, it features 2 swimming pools and free parking.

It consists of 2 buildings, a white and a red one, plus 10 small houses. Rooms at AmareGold Tenuta La Baronessa Resort are air conditioned and feature an LCD TV. Classic and superior rooms are in the white building, while deluxe and suite rooms are in the red one.

Some rooms feature stone vaulted ceilings, others are decorated with frescos and stuccoes, others with a fireplace and four-poster bed.

The barman of the swimmingpool Alessio is a very very nice and fun person. Even if you want a cocktail that’s not on the menu, don’t worry he can make it ! The whole staff is very helpful and kind. The properties and its location are really wonderfull. Una tantissimo bello posto per le vacanze in Puglia <3

For me the only negative point is the twins bed that’s not always very confortable.

overall a good stay. swimming pool is awsome and the area nearby very relaxing and pleasant.

Breakfast was very nice. There is plenty of space. The apartment in which we stayed was comfortable and with lots of sapce for a family with two children. I loved the shape of the apartment which reminds of that of trulli. also, the massage i had the last day of stay was very nice and relaxing.

the apartment are equipped to the minimum. It would be nice to have curtains and some more items for the stay without having to worry to go to the supermarket (dish soap, kitchen paper, sponges for dishes, sugar, salt, etc.), it's something small but it would help the customer experience if you could take care of these small things without your guests having to ask for it.

Clean, recently renovated room. Friendly staff at the reception. Nevertheless, worst stay of our holiday in Italy.

Our resort stay was completely spoiled by the pool experience. The pool area blared an unpleasant mix of low-quality Italian rap music with cheap beats. If you're seeking a relaxing and peaceful holiday, I'd strongly advise against coming here!

Everything was wonderful. The staff took excellent care of us from arrival to departure. We received good recommendations for dinner. The hotel rooms and territory are very clean and well cared. We started to miss the hotel and the staff as soon as we left. We will definitely come back here.

Dissapointing compared to the other great places we stayed and people we have met in beautifull Puglia.

The location, pool area and ambiance of park are nice. But thats about it.

Staff is more rude then friendly, apartments are of poor quality (old fashioned) and not really clean, breakfast service is limited - its basically a place of faded glory. Too bad, because it had a lot of potential!

It's second time for my family to stay in this Resort and that explains a lot. Not just the apartment but the whole place is huge. The swimming pool is quite big and well managed. Indeed, i saw salvataggio guy keeps cleaning the pool and the sunbed all day whenever he can. He managed whole place very diligently. I also loved to stay in the swimming pool bar with some cocktail. Staff at the bar and the restaurant were very friendly and kind. Every evening, we could take a walk in the resort looking at the horses and cows. Since it's long way to walk, it's good to bring kid's monopattino(scooter). It would help kids to move to the restaurant from the apartment for the breakfast. Talking about breakfast, quality is quite good. You don't see the hot meal such as eggs and bacon on the table but you can order as you like. Overall, my family, especially my kids were very happy to stay here and we will definitely come back here again.

Beautiful hotel surrounded by greenery; very spacious apartment (even for family of 5), delicious breakfast and dinner, refreshing pool, everywhere clean and staff exceptional. An oasis of calm close to numerous beaches. We will certainly return!
